Urban Decay Cherry Palette

Urban Decay Cherry Palette

For today’s post I’m reviewing the Cherry palette from Urban Decay. This palette was already a while on my wish list. I signed up for an e-mail notification so I would get noticed as soon as the palette was available. So when I received the notification I rushed to the Ici Paris XL store in Amsterdam to get my hands on this palette.

The packaging of the palette is just gorgeous. The palette comes with a mirror and a brush with two sides.

I’m just so in love with these cherry colors. Normally for my eyes I always wear brown tints, but from time to time I like to experience with brighter colors like purple and blue to make my eyes pop. I have a wide base of colors in my eye shadow collection, but colors like the ones from this palette were still missing. With my green eyes I think this eye shadow palette is a must have!

What I like about this palette is that you can create lots of different looks with it. From casual day make up looks to evening/party looks including a lot of glitter. With one palette you’re covered for many situations, which makes this palette very convenient for example traveling.

I swatched the colors from the palette from left to right: Hot Spot, Caution, Bang Bang, Feelz, Juicy, Turn On, Ambitious, Bing, Devilish, Young Love, Drunk Dial and Privacy.

The pigmentation of the colors is overall high, but with some colors like Hot Spot and Caution I would recommend to apply some extra layers. My favorites from the palette are the glitter ones like Bang Bang, Ambitious and Young Love. Bu also Bing and Devilish are sooo pretty and highly pigmented.

What I like less about this palette is the fall out of the product. Not so necessarily under my eyes when I’m applying it, but when I’m dipping my brush in the product there is fall out everywhere. It’s not only a bit messy but it also feels like a waste that so much product is coming off. Other than that I’m only enjoying this palette to the fullest and I can’t wait to create more looks with it. Also for the upcoming holidays like Christmas and NYE.

You can get the palette online on the website of Urban Decay. Or in the stores and website of Ici Paris XL.
