Glamglow box March

Glamglow box March

Hi Everyone! A new month, means a new Glamglow box. This month’s box has all amazing products and I can’t wait to share it with you.

At the moment things are very unusual because of our staying home situation due to Corona. The positive thing is that I can spend a lot of time on my skin. I apply at least 2 masks each week and I’m hardly wearing any make-up. So that means that my skin has all the time in the world to relax and be treated.

For this month’s box I’m reviewing the following the products:

Eyeboost Eye Mask

Okay let’s start with this eye mask. I was so pleasantly surprised! According to Glamglow, the mask contains Hyaluronic acid that delivers a boost of instant hydration and pairs up with skin-smoothing algae and mushroom extracts to reduce the look of dry, fine lines.

The first thing I like is that it covers up so much more than just the eye-area. It includes everything around it. I used this on a morning when I had a rough night of sleep and the bags under my eyes were really intense. The mask looks kinda funny when you put it on:

I kinda feel like a superhero or like I’m attending a masked ball lol. Anyway, the mask was really cold and had a nice gel on it: perfect for my sleepy face! I really immediately felt that my face was waking up when I put the mask on.

I left it on for around 10-20 minutes and after that I massaged the leftover product in my skin. I felt so fresh, awake and ready for a new day. I really could tell the difference before and after the mask. This mask is definitely a recommendation when you have for example a special event and want to look extra fresh and good!

Waterburst moisturizer

Next up is the Waterburst moisturizer. And again, I’m such a fan of this product! I honestly love trying out all these new amazing products every month. As you know I have a really dry skin, so products like this moisturizer make me so so happy. Just what my skin needs. This moisturizer is so soft, that when I applied it, it honestly felt like I was putting on an oil/gel to my skin. But this really is a cream. A weightless water cream to be exactly. It made my skin feel so incredibly smooth.

The moisturizer hydrates up to 72 hours which is crazy! Exactly what my dry ass skin needs in winter. The product contains a triple hyaluronic acid complex and water from Jeju Island, Korea, the formula bursts into skin-quenching water drops on contact.

How good does this look? I immediately want to dive my face in this little can and get hydrated. An absolute recommendation for people with dry skin. You can use the cream both in the morning as in the night. The only thing is that it doesn’t contain SPF, so if you want to wear it in the day, make sure to combine it with a product that has SPF in it.

Gravity Mud

The third product I will be reviewing is the Gravity Mud. To be honest, I’ve been looking SO forward to receive this mask. I didn’t know in which box it would come, so each month I hoped it already arrived. But this month I was lucky!

What I love about this mask is that you can peal it of. I’ve never tried a mask like that before and I was so excited to finally start using it. Also the metallic look of the mask is giving me some major vibes. How cool 🙂

Ohhh it looks so pretty. What I also really like is that it comes with a little brush so you can apply the mask perfectly.

I don’t think I’ve ever looked this well with a mask on haha. Anyway, I really love this product. I leave it one for around 15 minutes. According to Glamglow “this chrome peel-off face mask treatment with mega-targeted licorice and marshmallow extracts helps visibly firm, tighten and lift skin in an instant. Try not to selfie in it—it’s impossible.” Well they are so right, I couldn’t stop myself from taking a selfie. Multiple actually lol.

Super Mud

Last but not least, I’m reviewing the Super Mud. The name already sounds amazing. According to Glamglow it is their most advanced clearing treatment and #1 best-selling charcoal mud mask. Fights problem skin and skin imperfections with charcoal, a blend of six acids, and K-17 clay. The activated-x charcoal helps lift dirt, toxins and excess oil from the deepest and toughest areas to purify pores. The SUPER 6 Acid Blend helps loosen dead skin cells to exfoliate and sweep them away, leaving fresh, smooth skin behind. Visibly, instantly clears the complexion and is suitable for acne-prone skin. All you need is a thin layer.

Sounds amazing and it works like a charm! I apply a thin layer of the mud (which is really easy to apply btw) and leave it on for around 15 minutes.

(Don’t mind the hairstyle and the bathrobe looools) But as you can see it targets the pores (especially around my nose area) really well. Once the mud is dried up, I rinse it off and while doing that, the mask also scrubs your face – leaving an extra fresh face as a result.
